"We had a wonderful stay at this very clean hotel in a perfect location, with friendly, welcoming staff. The breakfast was excellent, there’s on-site parking, and it’s dog-friendly, with lovely parks nearby for walks.
Inside, the décor is striking and eclectic — vivid textured portraits, playful bathroom murals — giving the place a gallery-like feel. Just outside, the park features illuminated glass sculptures and even a Roman boundary stone, making for a delightful cultural surprise. The town itself felt calm and safe, perfect for a relaxing break.
The only challenge was the sofa bed for my children, which was too small for a teenager and hadn’t been prepared. Despite our late-night arrival, the receptionist kindly brought extra bedding, but I still ended up sharing a bed with two teenagers — not the most restful night 😉
Still, I’ll happily return… next time without the teenagers 😉"
