Hotels Point Pleasant – Toms River

„Good location. Quiet. Was scammed by resort fee at check in. Reserved via Expedia. Free parking included. At check in was told “resort fee required”, for towels and chairs (not needed) and beach tags, and parking. Found out afterwards no beach tags required since off-season and no lifeguards. Asked for refund of “resort fee” and was told it’s mandatory. I felt I had been scammed. For our fee, we received the “free parking” which was already part of the original reservation.“

„Be careful if you book this hotel. It is a pet friendly place but what they don’t tell you is it’s a 75.00 fee and the beach is NOT pet friendly. To take your pet to a pet friendly beach is 29 min away. If you do go with your pet make sure you bring vaccine tags or a photo of them they will ask for it“

„Zimmer #4 sehr klein, wie konnten den Koffer nicht mit ins Zimmer nehmen, haben im auto paar Klamotten und die Zahnbürste geholt. Boden sehr schräg. Für eine Nacht ok, mehr möchte ich nicht. Umgebung sehr schön und gepflegt! Strände wunderschön, vieles geschlossen weil off-saison!“

„Motel looks rundown from the outside but although the room was small, it was absolutely sufficient for our purposes. Tv worked, Wifi sometimes not, bed comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. Forget the breakfast and walk acros the street to the OB Diner!“

„There's no wonder why this motel had such a high rating. I have zero complaints. Rooms were so nicely set up. Very modern. Bed was very comfy. I had an amazing time staying here. Will definitely be booking again when I go back. Staff was so nice and friendly as well!“

„A special place, not comparable with other places. The equipment ist composed with a lot of love. But especially showering ist not so easy in a high bathtub with curtains all around. People are very friendly, breakfast ist served and tastes very good. If you love Victorian style, you should go there.“

„My family and I love staying here! The rooms are always clean. The staff and their kids are very kind and friendly. The distance from room to the boardwalk/beach is about a 3min walk with kids..super close..the pool was clean and fun for days we didnt go to beach. High recommend…“

„Sydney was very friendly and professional during check-in, offering recommendations for food around the boardwalk. They were very prompt to bring extra bedding and linens. Very clean motel. We will be returning because the room/motel was clean, staff was courteous and helpful and the location is perfect!“

„Nice room, the furniture is definitely beginning to show signs of wear and tear, couches are stained, location was good if you want to be in town for eating and drinking, just paying over $450 per night for a room is crazy, we booked it last minute“
