Yealm Cabin is a private timber log cabin overlooking the beautiful Yealm Valley in the South Hams, Devon.

Tucked into peaceful countryside yet only a few minutes from Yealmpton and its local pubs and amenities, the cabin is designed for guests looking for a quiet rural escape with their own private hot tub and plenty of outdoor space.

🏡 YEALM CABIN

Constructed predominantly from timber, Yealm Cabin sits in its own secluded countryside setting overlooking fields, the horse paddock, stables and the Yealm Valley.

It is particularly popular with couples, but can accommodate up to 4 guests and also works well for small families, friends or anyone simply looking for a peaceful place to escape.

Large French doors open from the living area towards the surrounding countryside, giving the cabin a bright and relaxed feel.

🛏️ SLEEPING & BEDDING

Yealm Cabin sleeps 1–4 guests.

The private bedroom includes:

✔ Made-up double bed
✔ Bedding and pillows provided
✔ Direct access to the private courtyard

For guests 3 and 4, there are 2 fold-out futon floor beds in the open-plan living area.

Bedding and pillows are also provided for the futon beds.

A set of standard bathroom towels is provided, although guests are encouraged to bring additional towels and older towels for hot tub use, as chlorine can mark or discolour bathroom towels.

🚿 PRIVATE DETACHED BATHROOM

The private bathroom sits immediately beside the cabin within the secluded courtyard.

From the main bedroom, simply step outside and the bathroom is literally around two strides across the courtyard.

Guests sleeping on the futon beds in the open-plan kitchen/lounge area can instead use the cabin’s front door and walk just a few extra steps around to the bathroom, so there is no need to pass through or disturb anyone sleeping in the main bedroom.

🛁 PRIVATE HOT TUB

The secluded courtyard also includes your own private 4-seater hot tub with mood lighting.

Positioned immediately beside the bedroom and bathroom, it creates a lovely private space for relaxing in the evening or beneath the stars.

Please bring older or additional towels specifically for hot tub use.

Yealm Cabin enjoys its own peaceful patch of Devon countryside with approximately an acre of lawn overlooking the fields and stables below.

Horses are regularly in the field below the cabin and guests are welcome to say hello or give them a gentle pat over the fence if they come across to you.

Please do not enter the paddock or feed the horses without permission.

A charcoal barbecue is provided. Guests should bring their own charcoal.

The surrounding lanes and countryside are ideal for walking, and the village of Yealmpton can also be reached through the surrounding rural lanes and woodland.
