This was not a good vacation experience. The property was dirty, shower curtains were moldy, clothes and dirty towels from previous guests were still around the house, hot tub was cold and not filled, pool alarm batteries were old so there was constant beeping. We addressed all of this immediately to have someone come clean the property and address the hot tub and the alarm. Someone cam and got the hot tub going (we had to fill it ourselves) and replaced the batteries for the alarm. No one ever came to clean.Beyond the cleanliness. I received a voicemail 4 days before check in (well beyond our cancellation date) saying that there was "A cabin" being built behind our cabin and hopefully that wont disturb us. When we pulled in, it was a full construction zone. Immediately behind us, multiple cabins were being built along with directly to the left, directly to the right and in front. We had 2 young girls with us and there was absolutely no privacy to the hot tub and out door amenities we paid for, a bob cat was parked not even 5 feet from out patio. we should have been informed of the amount of construction that would be going on when we booked the property months earlier.Our VRBO representative was no help and very rude when we were expressing our concerns. She did not eve have the correct phone number for the host or management company and told us "it was not her problem."Overall, a very disappointing experience and a lot of money wasted.
