The accommodations were very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen could have been stocked a little better with more pots and pans, but overall was adequate. There were some issues with kitchen stools falling apart when weight was put on them. The outside features were cluttered and not well maintained. There was a basketball goal, but no court or even space to really play. The listed amenities included a hot tub and a private pool. There was no actual pool, but rather a swim tank as part of the hot tub. There was no pool table or foosball table, both of which were listed as well. The arcade games were very good and got a lot of use. The claim that you could see watch the Dollywood fireworks show from the property was not totally accurate. You could only see a small part of the show above and thru the trees. The “walk to Dollywood” was true, but I wouldn’t recommend you count on it. It would require you to cross 5 lanes of traffic and scale a number of barricades to do so. After a long day at the park, I doubt you’d feel good about the return hike. Our host was generous enough to comp some additional space to us in an adjacent cabin which made it easier for our group of 20 to spread out. We still had a good time, but the lack of a true pool, as advertised, surprised us and disappointed a number of members of our group. Given the number of issues stated above, I feel like I payed too much for this rental.
