Christy's Creekside Cabin - calm, cozy, comfort

Set on a wooded hill, overlooking Carrick Creek, our cabin is the perfect place for you to truly relax and enjoy the melodic sounds of nature. You might come just to enjoy the peace and beauty of this setting, or you may come back to the serenity after a busy day of hiking, fishing, boating or visiting waterfalls. Whether you are looking for a quiet get away or an adventure, this is the perfect place to stay and make memories for a lifetime!

The space
Our house is a newly renovated cabin that doesn't look or feel anything like the original structure which was built in the 1940s. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing delicious meals. Coffee and tea are provided. Each of the three bedrooms has a queen-size bed and bath. The great room is spacious and comfortable. Nestled in the woods, the location is private, yet provides easy access to wonderful restaurants, shops and numerous state parks, national forests and other outdoor activities in the Upstate and Western NC.
You will love the cabin because of its peaceful, comfortable atmosphere. Sitting at the creekside deck is the perfect spot to enjoy the calming sounds of nature surrounding you.

This cabin is a wonderful place to stay. Things are quiet, it's at the end of a road with almost no traffic. You're also less than 5 miles from Table Rock - one of my favorite places in SC. Book this cabin!

Wonderful stay at this well appointed cabin! The hosts were very attentive to detail, comfort, and cleanliness. We were there for our daughter’s wedding at The Gaines Lodge at Table Rock State Park. The cabin provides the respite we all needed from business and stress that comes with a wedding. Thanks for being part of some wonderful memories!

The cabin was perfect, room to spread out and big areas to gather. Very clean and comfortable. Christy brought us bird food and we had a cardinal hang out. Sitting by the creek sooo relaxing. Great place to stay and wonderful host.

This cabin is so close to Table Rock it's amazing. It's quiet and the stream right outside the door sounds amazing. Be sure to sit upstairs and watch the birds eating from the feeder right outside the window. Beautiful place and wonderful owners.

The Creekside Cabin was roomy and warm and right on the creek. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit, listening to the water rushing over the rocks. We hiked at the state park, had lunch at the winery, and enjoyed an evening meal by the fire pit. Our only mistake was we stayed just two nights. Should have stayed longer.

Christy’s cabin is the perfect getaway! Close enough to necessities, but remote enough so that you feel like you’re “away from reality!” We will be back again and again! The owners are are welcoming and have thought of so many thoughtful ways to make a stay there really enjoyable. They have put together a great binder of information about the area and things to do in the area, so go with no agenda and find your adventure while enjoying the peaceful setting of this beautiful cabin!!

If you are looking for solitude in the beauty of nature, this is a perfect place to stay. It reminded me of retreats that I have taken where you have the opportunity to be quiet, still, and at peace. Also, the cabin itself is spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of interest in surrounding areas if you want to explore. The streaming service was easy to use. We enjoyed watching several football games.

Excellent very clean cabin! Appliances were all up-to-date and worked perfectly. It was warm and inviting and we enjoyed every minute of our time at this cabin. Our stay was amazing!! We were so excited to see how well appointed and clean it was! Beautiful kitchen, comfortable living room area etc. I usually feel the need to clean when I arrive at a rental to get it to my desired cleanliness but not here! It was amazing!!! They really went above and beyond with this house, so many little details that made it wonderful! Great towels and blankets etc. I was a little nervous because when I looked at reviews there were not a lot but wow was I pleased, I wish everyone would leave a review for this place because it’s incredible. There is a nice upper and lower deck you can enjoy as well as the creek with babbling water right there out your door. It has a dishwasher and washer and dryer which was wonderful! We cooked all our meals at the house so these extras were great. They even had soap at every sink, body wash and shampoo at every shower!! Each bedroom has its own bathroom with 1 being also accessed from the hallway for anyone who may want to use it. The downstairs was basically its own little apartment with bed, bathroom, tons of closet space and a little entertainment room area. We will definitely be back!! Thank you so much for making our stay wonderful!
