„Shine Chalet is a perfect for a short/long stay for a couple. The premise is clean, modern and smart, there is more than adequate space, it is well equipped, the bed is comfortable and a very nice shower, one issue is the minute hand basin, which barely big enough for it’s function. There is nice outside space with table and chairs and a tidy and sizeable car parking area.“

Penzance: Top-Hotelbewertungen

The Queens Hotel

The Queens Hotel

10/10 Hervorragend
"The hotel is very old-fashioned but I later realized it was built in the mid 1800s so perhaps it’s actually in a very good state. The only thing I didn’t like is that my stay was during Storm Austen, so at night the (old fashioned) window and the entire room was shaking and it was very hard to sleep. But that was, of course, more due to how bad the storm was. Other than that, the room was great. The bathroom was huge and the bed was so incredibly comfortable. The kettle in the room was perhaps not as well maintained as I would have wanted, but it didn’t affect me much when I used it. The breakfast at the hotel was also incredibly good and the restaurant had an ocean view, which was fantastic. The staff was soooo nice, especially the young women at the restaurant (we’re similar in age, so I think we got along because of that). The location was also really great. Close to a Lidl (I travelled alone and on a budget, so Lidl was my best friend), the beach and the train station, so catching the bus to St Michael’s Mount was a piece of cake. Overall a very pleasant stay!"
