„The host was helpful in guiding us to the property. We ended up hiring luggage porters to bring our luggage to the property from the ferry dock as there are many stairs to climb. The place was clean and secure. It is also located in a great spot, close to bus stops and restaurants. The views were spectacular. Everything was in walking distance. The only issue we had was we didn’t have great communication with the host after check-in. We didn’t have any guidance regarding the checkout process.“

Yes, you will have to go up and down stairs to go places but we are 72 years old and had no issues. „We enjoyed our stay at Casa Laura. The property listing was accurate and met our expectations. We were greeted by a host who showed us how to get from the street to the property (up the 47 steps). The rooms matched the description online and were clean. The complimentary espresso packets were a nice touch. We only used the basics during our short stay (Bedrooms and Bathrooms) we did not use any appliances or cook while we were there but everything looked great. The wifi and A/C worked ...

We found out after booking and paying in full that there are approx. 150 stairs to climb to get to the property. This should probably be disclosed in the listing. „We had a great stay here. It's quite a walk, as we knew going in! Lots of steps and without a taxi to bottom of the stairs the walk to the main areas of Positano was far, but manageable. The good news with the distance is the stunning view from the villa!“

„Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Nadja und ihrem Mann empfangen und auch während des gesamten Aufenthalts liebevoll betreut. Ein großer Korb mit allen möglichen Köstlichkeiten hat uns im Haus erwartet, an Ostern haben wir eine Pastiera bekommen, von der Oma gebacken und extrem lecker. Die Wohnung liegt sehr schön am Hang und ist top ausgestattet, vom Balkon und vom Schlafzimmer aus hat man einen tollen Meerblick und man ist weg vom Trubel der Hauptstraße. „Very clean, great communication on what’s App and help with planning boat ride, taxis, travel to/from Rome. Definitely recommend but next time we’d honestly probably stay on other side of Praiano so we could walk to more restaurants but overall a wonderful experience. Definitely bring your walking shoes- so many steps but a great opportunity to walk off the amazing food lol“

"Das Grand Hotel ist ein ganz wundervoller Ort. Es thront hoch oben über der Küste. Die Anfahrt über die endlosen Serpentinen sind ein Abenteuer, das man mögen muss. Wahrscheinlich sieht es nicht jeder so, aber wir lieben das Gekurve auf den engen Straßen, denn es eröffnen sich jedes Mal neue Eindrücke und Erlebnisse. Es lohnt sich außerdem, denn vom Balkon der Zimmer hat man einen einzigartigen Blick über das Meer. Durch die Sackgassenendlage ist es sehr ruhig. Von innen entspricht das Hotel nicht dem modernen Zeitgeschmack, man spürt dadurch aber noch den Glanz vergangener glamouröser Zeiten. Wir fanden das sehr charmant. Außerdem ist es sauber und ordentlich. Am Morgen gab es ein einfaches kontinentales Frühstück. (Als Käseliebhaber hätte ich mir an dieser Stelle eine zweite Sorte Käse gewünscht, aber insgesamt war durchaus für jeden etwas dabei.) Aufgrund der anderen schlechten Bewertungen bezüglich des Essens haben wir keine weiteren Mahlzeiten im Hotel zu uns genommen, dazu kann ich also nichts sagen. (Außerdem: In Italien probiert man sich doch überall durch und bucht nicht Halbpension!) Das Personal ist super freundlich! Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und zuvorkommend behandelt. Ganz herzlichen Dank dafür! Eines steht fest: Wenn es uns wieder an die Amalfiküste zieht, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten! Wir waren rundum glücklich. "
