Great Location, Beautiful Views and a Good Value

We really enjoyed our stay at Summerhouse. The location of this unit is great, tucked toward the end near Starbucks with a beautiful view overlooking the ponds. We especially enjoyed sitting outside and watching the turtles, fish and even the occasional alligator. It was a peaceful setting and one of our favorite parts of the stay.The unit itself was comfortable, although we thought it felt a little cluttered compared with other Summerhouse units we have stayed in. We were also surprised that there was only one bed, as many of the Summerhouse units we have stayed in previously had two queen beds. I was traveling with my mom, so I gave her the bed and picked up an air mattress. It actually worked out perfectly and fit nicely in the living room.A few basic supplies were limited or missing, including paper towels and dish soap, so we made a quick trip to the store and restocked some of the essentials. Nothing that seriously affected our stay, but having those basics available upon arrival would have been helpful.Working with Tidelife Vacation Rentals was a great experience. The team was easy to work with, friendly, responsive and very helpful throughout the process.Summerhouse itself is a great location, with the beach about a half-mile walk away and access to the amenities throughout Litchfield By The Sea. Between the location, pond views, beach access and overall experience, we felt it was a good value and would recommend it to others.
