„We stayed two nights in cabin #5. Nicely upgraded and very clean. Great view of countryside and part of lake Henshaw. Very peaceful Thursday, but got a bit busier as Friday afternoon weekend folks rolled in. Close to lake, Julian, outdoor activities, and good restaurants.“

„All I can say is the attention to detail was amazing! From the kitchen, to the bathroom and everything in between!!! We had everything we needed to make it the “glamping” experience we were going for. Even the pillows were comfortable (and that can sometimes be a hit or miss). We loved it so much, we decided to extend our stay, which we took advantage of right away after seeing a magnet on the refrigerator that it was offered for a 50% discount. „Perfect for a solo traveler like me. It rained the night I arrived and most of the next day, so I was glad for the wood stove. The site manager allowed me to check in a little early and came quickly with a battery for the smoke alarm when I asked. Clean, great view of the valley. “

„Sweet cottage, perfect for our family of 4.Clean, nicely decorated, plenty of towels/blankets. Appliances look new. Didn’t do any cooking on this trip but kitchen looked well stocked with anything we would need. Cara was easy to communicate with. Check in was very easy. Good location near downtown.“

„The cabin is easy to find & immaculate…a stunning property inside and out. It is well stocked with kitchen utensils, towels, blankets, shampoo, & a very well put together binder with local attractions. The deck is a serene spot surrounded by gorgeous trees and a variety of birds. The cabin interior was inviting with wood paneled walls, a comfortable bed, an extra soft sofa, & pretty Aztec decor. „The property was perfect… at site 11 there is an old tree with birds of all colors, wordpeckers, nesting birds all day. We had two great hikes and the pie and ice crean in Julian. We will be back soon.“

„SUPER private and peaceful! Exactly what we were looking for - to not have neighbors right next door or even see neighbors. It is an easy, no traffic drive to the town of Ramona and some wineries are really close. The few negatives were the shower pressure is really low, the deck gets afternoon sun and there was no umbrella or shade, and the outdoor furniture was not well maintained and had rat poop on it. „What a fantastic safari-like experience! The place was very tastefully done (think senior British officer's tent in 1800s) with all modern amenities (and wifi, if you dont want to unplug). Host Lauri was very communicative and easy to work with. We'll definitely be back when we have moree dayss.“

"Die Klientel am Wochenende ist z.T. von der Party & Sauffraktion. Sehr unschön, wenn man aufgrund der Hellhörigkeit unfreiwillig mitbekommt, dass der Zimmernachbar zu tief ins Glas geschaut hat und sich die halbe Nacht wie ein röhrender Hirsch über dem Klo erleichtert. Die Frühstücksleistung ist nicht der Rede wert (kein Aufschnitt). Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich."
