"Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und auch das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Die Lage ist sehr gut, mitten im Zentrum von Bowmore. Frühstück gibts auf Wunsch und wird frisch zubereitet. Alles in allem ein kleines, gemütliches B&B gut gelegen für Ausflüge auf der Insel Islay."

"This was a charming but rustic property. I expected that, as I read the age of the hotel. Tub/shower was a bit rickety, but clean. The rooms are heated with radiators that are on timers...you cannot control the temp yourself. Food at their restaurant was great. The place just needs a bit of TLC."

Very enjoyable stay
"The property had everything we needed. Sitting outside in the evening was very nice. The log burner was cosy after the sun went down. It was only a few minutes drive to the local shop and distillery. That being said,some mould remover and a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss. shop and distillery."
