„Check in process could have been smoother. Wrong number listed resulting in some legwork to get the front door code, which was supposed to be provided 48hrs prior to check-in. No candles allowed and this is not listed in the house rules letter. A little annoyed with that as candles are pretty harmless. Room was very clean. Parking is free which is great. Site is close to a lot of things. We would stay here again. This specific room is meant (and perfect) for a couple.“

„There were mice droppings everywhere. In the cabinets, in the utensil drawer, all over. This is a serious health and safety issue and we worried about getting sick. We had to wash all the dishes before using anything. There were holes in the wall, unrelated to the mice it seems (too high up the wall). I would not let any other guests book this chalet until this matter is resolved. „The chalet served its purpose for our large family, however, its an older home and immediate improvements are required by the owner(s).The first, which is very basic but a must have is installing hooks in the washrooms and bedrooms for towels and clothing. There are no hooks/ towel racks in most of the bathrooms and almost all of the bedrooms. We had to lay our towels on the back of couches and chairs to dry. But the Cottage needs more cleaning (the fridge was dirty, we found rotten tomatos in it, neded to clean first), found Mouse droppings under the kitchen sink, mouse bites in our Toast. And it needs more love. The nice big chairs in the garden are rotten and falling apart. Looks like nobody cares about this Cottage anymore “
