„A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Room was clean comfortably and so cosy! We were made to feel so welcomed and they kindly accommodated a veggie breakfast for us. The breakfast was lovely with fresh foods and lots of local produce to choose from. We even got a tour of the place! Would highly recommend a stay here. “

„We were allocated the Shropshire suite, which is plain with no designer features, but has an en-suite, and is accessed from outside. It's a 300 year old inn, so if you expect a BnB type experience rather than a hotel, you won't be disappointed. The breakfast was really good. The skylight needs a blind as the early morning light wakes you up at dawn. The fan in the en-suite also didn't work, perhaps explaining the black mould in the shower tiling. But it was otherwise clean, and perfectly located ...

„Lovely clean room - it is over a pub so did not expect complete quiet. Staff were helpful. Outdoor area is more for pub customers but not the end if the world. Lovely river with birds to watch.“

„venue is located on a cross roads of the A49 between Ludlow and Leominster which is a fairly busy junction at many times of day & night. Also located next to a 24hour Asda service station and travel lodge which created vehicle move movements at all times of day & night. We ate in the Salway hotel each night in addition to Breakfast and found the food & service helpful and attentive and the room adequate for our needs. We had been to the hotel previously and found it suitable to our needs.“
