„The property is well maintained and very clean , we found the room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order. The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area . Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough. The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break. We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer break“

„Lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. The rooms don't have air-con and ours didn't have opening windows, so a little stuffy, but a fan is provided. The hotel is ideally located for the town and the beach, and there are plenty of bars & restaurants within walking distance. Parking is available for £6 per night, but it is on the street (very easy & close to the hotel though). Would stay again.“

„This guest house is one of the cleanest properties I have stayed in. Rooms are compact, but comfortable. The shared bathroom isn’t really shared as a lot of the rooms have en-suite, so don’t let it put you off if that is the only room available. The towels provided are thick and fluffy. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The friendly receptionist is also a very good escalation manager and took the parking fee off the bill to make up for the noise.“
