„Emma contacted me unprompted to see what time I would be arriving, which was a nice courtesy. Enjoyed a nice slice of homemade cake with my tea upon arrival. Nice touch! My single room was ideal for a solo overnight stay. Comfortable and warm. Excellent breakfast included plenty of tempting options, all served in the spacious breakfast room. I would highly recommend Waves.“

„Very friendly welcome, help taking the suitcases upstairs, nice bedroom with plenty of drink sachets and toiletries. Very comfy bed. Absolutely fantastic breakfast with plenty of options for vegetarians. Great location neat to the south side cliffs. Handy for the main town. “

„Ein wunderbar charmantes Hotel in idealer Lage. Vielleicht wäre ein bisschen mehr Liebe zum Detail angebracht, z.B. regelmäßig Duschgel auffüllen, täglich das Zimmer saugen. But all in all I had a delightful stay and will come again when visiting Scarborough. Thank you, Vicky and Steve“

„Wenn man akzeptiert, dass der Vorhang auch bei geschlossenem Fenster wackelt, und sich warm anzieht, hat man ein stilvolles, typisch englisches Hotel mit sehr bemühtem Personal und hervorragendem Frühstück. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.“

„Das Zimmer war klein aber sauber und sehr gemütlich.Schöner Blick aufs Meer, auch vom Bett aus. Frühstück war reichlich und gut. Parken war mit ausgehändigter Parkkarte kostenfrei an der Straße möglich. Bietet kaum ein anderes Hotel. Super Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Komme gerne wieder.“

„We stayed at The Central because of its convenient location for the Stephen Joseph Theatre. We were lucky to find parking directly in front of the hotel and purchased a discounted parking permit from the hotel. There are plenty of parking garages nearby as well. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The room on the third floor was a decent size with all the basics including an ironing board and iron. It looked out on a main road with several bars but the noise, even on a Friday night, ...

„An sich sehr schönes Hotel. Ideal für Wanderer und Radfahrer mit eigenen Fahrradkeller. Der ist allerdings nur über eine etwas enge Treppe zu erreichen. Service top, Sauberkeit i.O. Sehr schöne Lage. Das Hotel wird von Hundebesitzer geschätzt.“

„Great location, easy to walk to north beach but also, town centre and south beach are close enough to walk to. For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting too much but this guesthouse has everything you might need and more for a few days away, it’s very clean and the rooms are spacious and well organised. The staff was super nice and my double bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept on! I would definitely go back!“

„By the booking, I asked for a room upgrade if possible with no response. Upon arrival, I asked again and there was a possibility to upgrade but only our last night. AND that we had luck as the new room wasn't affected by the more expensive weekend rate, there would be no extra charges for the upgrade. At check-out we were presented with a new upgraded invoice!
