„It was quiet and cozy. The owners were kind when I spoke with them. As was made clear there isn't AC so it did get a little warm over night in the room, but a few minutes with the door open cooled down quick. I would recommend a fan. However, would stay again.“

I expected a small second-story loft, but it was quite large with a kitchenette, nice roomy bathroom, dining area, living area and 2 king beds (and 2 twin bed that we didn't use), and lots of windows that we opened at night to let the cool, piney-scented air in. What I loved the most was how quiet it was there. Going to sleep breathing piney-scented cool air in complete silence was wonderful....best rest I've had in a long time!“

It was perfect as a base to explore the area from Eureka to Trinidad, with lots of opportunities to hike in the redwoods, birdwatch at the famous Arcata Marsh, and stroll/tidepool at the many beaches.“
