„The property looks just like it's pictured. It's an amazing view. It's nice to have access to the hotel below, but it's not really walkable. It is if you want a cardio workout, the steep climb is tough even when you're in shape. I did it once and it was a hard climb/walk. So much to do in the area and even though we were there in the rainy season we were prepared and didn't let the rain stop us. “

„My family and I had a great stay at Magnalia House. The house and detached pool cabana were spotless, comfortable and well appointed. Highlight is definitely the soaking pool in backyard. The area around the pool was comfortable, and beautifully landscaped, giving a feeling of complete privacy even though you are in a neighborhood. Also, the awnings allow for plenty of sun but also allow you to enjoy outside even when it’s pouring rain. And the view of Arenal from the pool is stunning. A couple ...

„This was one of the best properties I have stayed in so far. The views were amazing. The maintenance and cleanliness of the property was 5 star. Daily cleaning service was a great add on, we came back everyday to a clean house. Spacious for 2 families. Highly recommend. Will return to stay when we are in Costa Rica in the future. “

„Our group of 8 enjoyed our stay at Casa Batsu. It was clean, modern and comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the pool. It’s about 5-7 minutes outside of La Fortuna. Highly Recommend!“

„Can't say enough good things about this property. It was so nice to have separate rooms and beds for our family of five, and a pool to let the kids play in after long days of adventure. Extra clean, and the kitchen had all of the implements that we needed to make daily meals. Most impressively, the hosts were extremely responsive and had the best discounts in town for any possible activity that you could desire. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! “

„Great spot to land and really get away from the majority of tourists. Local restaurants are cheaper, people are happier and it is not that far to all things Arenal. The house was great and property manager responded quickly when we had questions. Only thing is there is just one gate code, doors take a bit to get used to lock and unlock and house is 4th one on the left. But those are just minor things. “

„We loved our stay. The house was perfect for us. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, AC cooled each room and the general areas very nicely. Bathrooms and the kitchen both had hot water. The dryer isn’t there anymore, but we just used the clothes line. The pool was always clean and a great depth for my kiddos. Outside was full of wildlife with over 36 bird species, including a pair of spectacled owls. A guide pointed out four sloths in the trees! I saw male and female basilisks, iguanas ...

„Our family had a wonderful stay at Villa Maria. It was equipped with everything needed for a long term stay. My only recommendation would be to add tv's in the larger bedrooms. “

„We really enjoyed our stay. It was close to downtown an easy walk to get around restaurants and shops. It was very clean and comfortable. The pool was refreshing after a day of adventures. Lots to do in La Fortuna...Hot springs, waterfalls, hiking to the volcano, sloth exploring and more.... The management team was so helpful in organizing our trip. „The pictures do not do this place justice. If you like hearing howler monkeys at dawn and seeing birds and lizards and frogs in your backyard then this is the place for you. Our kids love to swim and explore and this place couldn't have been better for that. There was more than enough room for our family of 6, the host was very friendly and excellent with communication and it was easy to find. It was 10 minutes into the heart of La Fortuna and very easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go. ...

"Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Die Lage hat für uns gepasst, sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen – und das sagt wohl alles. Wir können das Hotel wirklich aus Überzeugung weiterempfehlen. Ich nehme mir nur für Hotels Zeit für eine Bewertung, die es auch wirklich verdient haben."

"Nous avons passé deux belles nuits dans cet hôtel bien placé pour visiter la zone de la Fortune. La chambre avec vue sur la forêt et sur le volcan était bien confortable, propre et spacieuse. Le personnel disponible nous a bien accueilli et renseigné. Le restaurant propose un assez bon petit-déjeuner et des bons repas. Je le conseille ! "

"Sauber und komfortabel. Die Hoteleigenen hot springs haben uns an einem Regentag gut getan. Das Personal war sehr nett und hat immer kompetent auf unsere Anfragen reagiert. Leider hörte man nachts ein permanentes Lüftungsgeräusch, das war der einzige Wehmutstropfen. "

"Hotel und Anlage schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch große Zimmer (gutes Bett, TV und schnellem Internet) mit großem Bad. Das Thermalbad ist schon recht abgerockt - der neuere VIP Bereich macht des dann etwas besser."
