„Tolle, saubere, kleine Hotelanlage inmitten vom Dschungel. Sehr schöne, saubere, geräumige Zimmer. Pool sehr schön. Frühstück sehr lecker. Restaurant hat kleine Karte, aber alles gut. Kurzer Weg zu einem schönen Strand. Sehr freundliches Personal.

„Super Unterkunft. Sehr schön gelegen, nicht weit von Lafortuna. Tolle Aussicht. Sehr sauber. Vielen Dank.“

„Communication with the host was very good. Overall the pictures seem to have been taken when the property was just refurbished and new. Towels and some drapery/blinds all need to be refreshed and extra blankets in bedrooms. Some of the blankets in the additional two rooms barely fit the bed. Kitchen was well appointed and clean. Ants seemed to be everywhere because the back of the property is not enclosed. Overall the property did its job and the location was perfect and very close to the center ...

„an oasis tucked away steps from the town“

„Really nice“

„Merci“

„Beware, this property is mold upon mold. Bathroom by the kitchen literally has a leak coming in through the walls that floods the kitchen, we left a day early because it was harmful levels of toxins. The photos are at least a decade old. Do not stay here. And gourmet kitchen, lol….“

„It was a perk to have our own pool and the master bedroom in a separate small cabin. It was just perfect and close to all amenities and activities within La fortuna.“

„We loved our stay in this house. First of all, Magdalena is incredibly responsive and makes sure everything is perfect. Secondly, the house is beautiful, offers every possible comfort, and the garden is superb, with the added bonus of visits from toucans, hummingbirds, and magnificent butterflies! I highly recommend it!“

Sehr lecker.“

„This place was more than amazing for us , the owner accommodated our 1 year old in everything we did , he was very kid friendly and made sure we did not want for nothing. Would 100 percent recommend this place specially for a family stay ! We will be booking again forsure“

„Perfect location to explore Manuel Antonio and the view from the top can’t be beat - sunrise and sunset!. Camilo (concierge) was fantastic as well - he helped arrange a private chef (delicious!) and several last minute excursions.“

„Great place, accessible to anything you want to do in La Fortuna. It was more than enough room for our family of 5. It was clean, safe and checked all of the boxes. The hosts were very responsive which was a big plus in my book.“

„Unbelievably great place! My husband and I came to fish from the Pez Vela Marina, and Mar y Sombra was the perfect location to stay! The view was beautiful from up on the hill - you can see the marina and the beach and watch surfers and others enjoy the water. Every night we got to watch the sunset from our balcony! The Quepos/Manuel Antonio area is pretty small, so it was both close to town and just a few minutes to the nature park and bigger restaurants. Obviously super close to the marina! ...
