There were two couples in our party so we only used the two bedrooms with King beds, but there was plenty of room for another adult couple or a few young children. „Das Haus ist sehr schön, leider war es sehr dreckig. Wir fanden Büschel von Haaren von verschiedenen Personen sowohl im Bad, auf dem Boden als auch im Bett. Die Zahnputzbecher waren nicht gesäubert. Der Kühlschrank leider auch nicht. Wir haben uns sehr unwohl gefühlt, so dass wir nur 2 statt 3 Nächte geblieben sind.“

„We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.“

It is a vacation home so there are some things that could be improved for maximum comfort and convenience i.e. hooks in the bathrooms for hanging towels, even a couple of hooks in the bedrooms for hanging hat or towels. „We were amazed at the sounds and sights while staying here! So many birds, monkeys and even an otter came to visit the pond! It was fun playing in the pool and the rain! Not too far from La Fortuna and small convenience shops at the end of the road. The kitchen isn’t really suitable for cooking for a family and isn’t very well equipped so probably best to eat out or make snacks only. The AC worked well and we enjoyed our stay here! „Die Unterkunft selbst hat uns gefallen. Der Gastgeber war sehr hilfsbereit und hat immer sofort geantwortet. Er hat sehr schnell und gut reagiert, als wir unser Zimmer tauschen wollten. In unserem ersten Appartement roch es sehr stark aus dem Abfluss. Im nächsten Appartement war es dann besser. Gut ist, dass vieles fußläufig erreichbar ist.
