„We stayed in the upper lodge. It’s a nice place, dinner was fine, and we enjoyed the campfire afterwards. Bed was comfy and shower good. I didn’t like totally hearing the next-door neighbor’s movie at night and the fact that you couldn’t turn off the porch light to better see the great stars. Also, we never managed to lock the door from the outside, and we couldn’t open the window for fresh air because the latch was high and a table was in front of the window. „The location was close by to the activities we had planned & had free bike rentals which was nice. The host was communicative and responded promptly. They seem very nice and willing to help. I believe this was unusual based on other reviews, but the place was not cleaned well. I do not blame the hosts but rather the cleaners, however it is still disappointing when paying premium holiday prices (4th of July) as well as a cleaning fee. We still enjoyed our stay overall and love Coeur D’Alene!“
