Shiners Shack ist eine rustikale Erfahrung in einer großartigen Lage.

Das Hotel liegt in Cosby / Newport Tennessee, etwa 35 Minuten von Gatlinburg und 45 Minuten von Pigeon Forge entfernt.
Diese Art von "Tiny Cabin" mit einer Größe von weniger als 200 Quadratfuß ist in den USA erstmals erhältlich und bietet ein primitives, gemütliches und rustikales Erlebnis mit Komfort zu einem erschwinglichen Mietpreis. "Shiners Shack" befindet sich im Wald zwischen den Bäumen mit Blick auf die Smoky Mountain Range. Die Kabine bietet bequem Platz für 2 Gäste und verfügt über eine Feuerstelle, Holzkohlegrill.
Wir bieten ein großes Bett auf dem Dachboden, eine Sitzecke mit Sofa, einen kleinen Dachboden zum Entspannen und Ansehen von DVDs oder Lagerbereichen, ein Vollbad mit Duschwanne, eine Küche mit Spüle, einen Minikühl- / Gefrierschrank, einen Herd / Ofen und vieles mehr Lager. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Tisch mit Platz für 2 Personen. Die Hütte ist haustierfreundlich, wir empfehlen jedoch, keinen großen Hund mitzubringen (pro Haustier und Aufenthalt wird eine zusätzliche Gebühr erhoben). Die Kabine ist mit Heizung und Klimaanlage, Handtüchern, Bettwäsche und Küchenutensilien ausgestattet. Die Umgebung von Shiners Shack Cabin ist abgeschieden und bietet Zugang zum Wanderweg direkt vor Ihrer Haustür. Sie können auch benötigtes Brennholz kaufen (8 USD pro Bündel). Ihr privater Whirlpool befindet sich direkt neben Ihrer Kabine und bietet eine großartige Aussicht!
Mit einem Allradantrieb können Sie direkt an der Kabine parken oder mit einem normalen Fahrzeug ist 600 m entfernt. Worauf wartest du? Erleben Sie diese neue Art der Rückkehr zur Natur, Aussicht und viel Komfort.

There is good cell service but no wifi. Also no microwave, so plan ahead for that. The grill in the pictures is not the one on site. More like a park picnic grill without a lid. Otherwise clean and cozy. Communication with host was quick and helpful. We had a 4WD truck and I couldnt imagine bringing my coupe here. Roads are a little rough. But we had a good time. Recommend fox and hounds restaurant for dinner and drinks!

The listing was shown as "moonshine" shack...we drive around for like 10 minutes, called host and was advised it is the "shiners" shack. The key is all bent to unlock the door. Not sure why they wouldn't just replace it? We walked in, the coffee maker had an old used coffee pod, the shower had hair and other things all inside and on the shower step over. The towels, they smell like wet dog. After you dry yourself, the smell carries over to you. I bought kleenex hand towels as I couldnt stand the smell of the towels.The fridge was dirty, do not put anything in the back of the fridge, it will freeze. The steps to bed ARE NOT accommodating for short people. I am 5 foot and it wss a struggle, the first step and last step down are not even, very dangerous! The drive to the cabin, very sharp turn it was back and forth a couple of times to make final turn. It was a nice getaway. I am not sure we will stay at this location again.

The cabin was adorable. Please keep in mind it is a tiny cabin, so it is very small. If you are a taller person you may struggle with the loft area. I am 5 foot 2 and had no trouble, my husband is 5 foot 10 and he couldn't sit up fully on the bed. This is not a negative on the cabin itself, it is just the nature of the type of cabin and something to keep in mind. Also remember you are in the mountains. The driveway/ road to the cabin is steep and you may have trouble driving up the hill unless you have 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive. We have a Chevy Traverse and it did fine. I will say the only negative we had was the outdoor lights were out, and since it is in the middle of the woods it was DARK. I had a bulb in my car so I went ahead and changed the light by the front door and sent a message to the owner in the morning about the lights I was not able to reach without a ladder. The owner did state they would have the maintenance person come replace them, however they were not working during our stay. I cannot say if they replaced the bulbs but there were other issues or if they did not come at all as I was gone most of the day. They were doing a lot of work on the driveways as we left that day so I could be that it just slipped their minds as they had other, bigger, issues to deal with. It is not a big deal to me as I had replaced one myself so I had some light. Overall it was a great stay and a nice cabin. I do think I will stay with this host again is available.

Great place with a view and hot tub!

Lovely little cabin with an awesome view and even more awesome hot tub. We had a great time. Note that you will most likely need a 4x4 to get up to this cabin. It's private and I felt safe at the site. This was my 2nd stay on the mountain but in a different cabin. I will most likely stay at this cabin or a different one on the same mountain property in the future. Owners seem friendly and down to earth which is always nice.

Absolutely gorgeous

From the outside, this cabin appears to be small and simple. From the inside, however, is a beautiful and charming place to stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the views and space in my one night stay. My only negative was the road leading to the space. There were two spots where you almost require an AWD vehicle to get here. This isn’t an issue of the owner but more a personal issue. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my stay and plan on attempting to reserve for future stays.

Completely blissful

A truly wonderful place to stay. It was perfect in every way! Clean, cozy little cabin. Hot tub was amazing! My husband and i loved it so much we added another night, would of stayed longer if we could of. We will definitely be going back to our new home away from home!

Very cool!

The cabin was pretty much exactly as the listing describes. They have added a gazebo/ roof over the grill and outdoor table which was really nice even though we weren’t there long enough to use it. The cabin was clean and had the basics for cooking. The steps to the loft bed were a bit steep which wasn’t a problem for us but is something to keep in mind. Overall we had a great stay!

This property has one of the most beautiful views in the state of Tennessee that I've seen! The hosts were wonderful and the cabin truly made this a memorable trip. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. Great location, easy scenic drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Only issue was the overall cleanliness. The hot tub needed some TLC. There were no sheets on our bed, just a pile of used sheets, towels, and blankets. We were glad that we brought our own sheets, pillows, and blankets.

Cute little shack!

This was a very cute shack! Overall my husband and I enjoyed ourselves but the cleanliness definitely was disappointing for the price we paid. There was hair upon check in on the sheets that weren’t ours, cob webs in the middle of the ceiling between the two lofts, the hot tub didn’t have the chlorine like it said it was supposed to on the sign and it did look as it had been used and not properly cleaned prior to our arrival, there was some old food stuck on the plates..the place has a peaceful charm and was very cute but the cleanliness was a little disappointing.

A peaceful adventure

The check in process was simple and easy. However, arriving when the sun is still up is ideal. Take your time and make sure you have AWD/4WD. Some of the roads are narrow and hard to navigate, especially in the rain. Without AWD be prepared to hike. You will wish you didn’t forget something in the car. 😊 The house is adorable and has everything you need. All of the little extras provided, are awesome. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. The location is perfect for anything you want to do in the area. We will definitely stay again.

This was an amazing place to stay great views of the mountains i am definitely going back well worth the cost. There is only one thing that other people may have troubles with is the access it is way up in the mountains and the drive is a little steep and nerve racking but i loved it other may not i give this place 4 out of 5 only because other people may have trouble getting up the drive i had an amazing time around Newport also juat a short drive to Gatlinburg and pigeon forage
