„Staff very welcoming. Food really nice and very filling. Perfect stay for us. Thankyou“

„It was a great stay with very good Food and very kind staff. We will definitely come back!“

„Pretty average“

„Das Zimmer war ok für eine Nacht. Wir waren aber froh, als wir wieder weg waren..... Alles in allem ein sehr komisches Hotel “

„The hotel was clean and the staff was really helpful. I had issues to program my keycard. So the staff had to do it for me. The room was clean and cosy, some coffee, a water, a Hair dryer and an iron were provided. The breakfast left no wishes unfulfilled.“

„A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities“

„We had a great stay. Our hosts were fantastic!“

„The Inn itself is lovely and great location, however there was no heating or hot water, and we checked in after getting caught in the rain on a long walk on a cold day so were really looking forward to a hot shower! There was no communication from staff about this, and no apology in the morning. Unfortunately this ruined what I’m sure would have otherwise been a lovely stay.“

„Es war eine schöne Unterkunft, allerdings lag sie sehr versteckt in einem Schlosspark. Herrliche Gartenanlage und liebenswürdige Eigentümerin, die uns wie Familienmitglieder behandelte. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück. Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.“

„The accommodation was in excellent condition for a house of this age, almost as good as the staff, we had a lot of fun and were exceptionally well entertained.“

„Great parking. We didn’t realise when we booked that the pub would shut at 8 pm on the Sunday which was disappointing but they gave us a key to enter the building and to come and go as we wanted. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.“

„Großes Zimmer.“

„Very old property with no renewal in sight. My small tv in room didn’t have a remote control so had to rely on my iPad, had a portable electric heater in room with no certification label attached, everything looked worn out. Breakfast is basic. Only book as a last resort. The manual wooden key holder could barely fit in my pocket.“

„Nice hotel at great value. We had a 1 night stay with our dog and were very comfortable.“

„This was the best B&B by far I have ever stayed in. The room was spotless and a very comfy bed. The full Cumbrian breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, There was also a good alternative menu aswell. But if you decide to have an evening meal you are in for a real treat. Darryl is a trained Chef and the meals he serves are amazing.“

„Great B&B with a lovely host, beautiful location, very nice room, delicious breakfast- everything was perfect, will definitely come again. “
