„Great stay! Room was very clean, bed was so comfortable! Easy walk to shops and restaurants. We were very impressed with the accomodations. We had an end unit so the extra window was very nice. I rated 4/5 for condition only because the rug seems to have suffered water damage at some point. Management seems very attentive and I'm sure it will be taken care of. „If you like mountains, it's a nice place to stay. But the parking situation of the cabin was not desirable. It's hard to park and not enough space. When checking out, we had to wash/dry/put dishes in the cabinet, remove sheets, take trashes to the trash bin outside which we didn't expect at all. “

„We stayed at the Victorian Inn for a quick anniversary getaway. It was cozy and quaint! The landscaping and the garden was lovely. Room was comfortable, had big bathroom, and great mattress. We loved that we could walk everywhere in Blowing Rock and only be a few minutes from our favorite running and hiking trails. Great location! The staff was excellent about communicating before the stay and very friendly when we saw them on the property.“

I had higher expectations...

"I had slightly higher expectations before arriving at the hotel. The check-in staff were fine, but I was hoping for a bit more of that Southern hospitality. When we got to our room, we noticed a lot of noise from the road, so we went back down to request a room change, which they handled without any issues—this was fantastic. The room itself was quite nice, with a very comfortable bed, though the bathroom was a bit small but functional. I also want to highlight the number and quality of the towels, which were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the breakfast much. It was impossible to avoid single-use plastic, which, as Europeans, we find difficult due to the amount of waste it generates. The dining area also felt a bit drab and uninviting. Another downside was the housekeeping. Despite requesting, confirming, and leaving the sign on the door for daily cleaning, we returned one evening to find that no one had come to clean the room, which was disappointing."
