„Love this place! It was so close to App State and downtown Boone making it perfect to visit our child for parents weekend. My favorite part was enjoying my Starbucks in front of the fire outside on the patio!!! Definitely recommend. “

„This home is very accommodating, there was enough room for 4 adults and 5 teens where we didn’t feel on top of each other, not to mention steps away from hiking trails, pickleball courts and a pavilion. The best spot was on the back deck enjoying the view and each other’s company. Blowing Rock and Boone were about 20-30 minutes away.“

„What an amazing home and grounds. We had a micro wedding here and it was absolutely amazing. There is so much to do at the house for all ages that everyone was entertained. Although sort of hiding behind a sign shop, it's right in the heart of Boone, within walking distance of many good restaurants and breweries. David is a good and friendly host and was quick to respond to my inquiries. My wife and I appreciated his tips on where to hike.“

"I had slightly higher expectations before arriving at the hotel. The check-in staff were fine, but I was hoping for a bit more of that Southern hospitality. When we got to our room, we noticed a lot of noise from the road, so we went back down to request a room change, which they handled without any issues—this was fantastic. The room itself was quite nice, with a very comfortable bed, though the bathroom was a bit small but functional. I also want to highlight the number and quality of the towels, which were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the breakfast much. It was impossible to avoid single-use plastic, which, as Europeans, we find difficult due to the amount of waste it generates. The dining area also felt a bit drab and uninviting. Another downside was the housekeeping. Despite requesting, confirming, and leaving the sign on the door for daily cleaning, we returned one evening to find that no one had come to clean the room, which was disappointing."
