„Warm comfortable bed and room on a cold Armidale night after a long drive. There was wonderful fire burning downstairs which radiated warmth throughout the guesthouse. A sunroom provided some lovely afternoon sun on arrival. Easy walk into town for an evening meal. Attention to the little details made this guesthouse a great experience.“

„Having lived on a similar rural acreage for close to 40 years we had some idea of what to expect. This stay far exceeded our expectations, a stay of only two days. Upon arrival instantly approached by the host, Robbie, a most charming and obliging host. There is nothing that is not supplied in the way of food, beverages and household amenities. To arrive there is as much as arriving at home. Top marks for Robbie's hospitality. 5 stars!“

„We stay in the Studio 1 accommodation and the layout with comfortable 3 seater couch and King size bed and great bathroom layout. Our only regret was we should have stayed a few extra nights.“

„On arrival there was no visible reception, which was surprising given how busy the weekend was. It was very confusing to find our accommodation and we had to call multiple times before anyone answered. The room provided was not the one we booked, and the property looked very run-down. Perhaps new owners but they certainly weren’t very helpful. „Lovely spot surrounded by nature. What we found strange was that according to hotels.com the booked room was INCLUDING breakfast. However upon arrival we where informed that the breakfast would be 2 x 20 AUD extra, as the breakfast was not mentioned on the booking. I checked on my own receipt from hotels.com and also didn't see breakfast on it. Not a big problem for us, we just drove into the next Cafe in the morning as we aren't huge breakfast eaters anyway. „What a beautiful, intimate, quaint cottage and only 10 minutes from the vineyards. Helen was the most lovely host, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was so peaceful and it felt like we were stepping into a cottage in the rolling hills of England. We loved our stay, the lovely breakfast each morning and definitely will be returning in the cooler months to sit around the beautiful log fire with a bottle of the Hunter’s finest.“
