„Perfect place to stay on our trip to Nevada City! The space is exactly as described. The birds outside were the cutest neighbors! There are apples and wild blackberries on the property, too. In the morning, you may hear people walking around upstairs. Something to consider if you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in. It was a short walk to town. Be sure to check out the Saturday Farmer's Market if you can! Would definitely consider staying here again. “

„My husband and I had a great stay at the Hoothaus. Great location with easy access to mountain biking and running trails. Close to the lake and to downtown Nevada City, yet still quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very communicative and helpful in suggesting local activities. Space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed! Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. “

„A group of ER nurses and firefighters on a short 2 night getaway with a day trip to a secret swim hole. This VRBO was beautiful and the outdoor areas were equally as beautiful. Hostess was great. All loved this VRBO. “

„We had family in town (Grass Valley) from Bay Area and East Coast. We all enjoyed the incredible views and had plenty of room to spread out and relax. My mother in law celebrated her 90th birthday and was able to get away and we all felt like we had a nice vacation. Thank you!“

„Great place to crash if you're visiting the river, 10 minutes from Oregon Creek Park, which is an awesome spot to hit with kids. Pretty sparse surroundings and it's deep in the woods, so it's remote and private. Space itself is set up for 2 people, if you bring more people (wouldn't recommend more than 2 adults, 2 kids) you should bring an air mattress and your own bedding. „Perfect location for me because it was quiet and private. This is a unique and beautiful neighborhood bordering BLM forest. This small home has a very comfortable floorplan, beds, seating and great amenities. Loved the kitchen appliances. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. “

„Sent my hubby and my boys on a weekend fishing trip and they stayed at this place. It was perfect! Place was clean, hosts were amazing folks! After a long day fishing, they were able to chill in the pool. Hospitality was tremendous, and the most important part was that the dogs were the best! Would definitely stay again. “

„Overall, excellent. We stayed 2 nights in winter. Roads were clear. A few other homes in sight but strong sense of privacy. Heating and cooking were good. Good tmobile data reception. Didnt try streaming. TV with DVD player and HDMI input. Driveway is between Bonnynook Rd intersection and american flag. Home is very clean and well equipped for your stay. Hosts are very accommodating and friendly. Top rating.“

„It's clear a lot of thoughtfulness and intention went into the property and amenities. It's rare to stay at a spot where there are cooking spices, tupperware containers, and minimal cleanup/checkout instructions, and all of these little things really added up to make for a relaxing and fulfilling vacation. Amazing location; communicative and welcoming host.“

„A wonderful place for our family to stay in Grass Valley! Nice, clean home with a hot tub! Wonderful master bedroom, comfortable bed! Owners are great to work with and reply quickly to any questions. Quiet neighborhood, which is great when relaxing in the hot tub. Would definitely book again!“

"Schöne Unterkunft im Wald, Zimmer wie auf den Bildern, großes Bad, Blick in den Wald, schönes Grundstück. Besonders gutes Frühstück, dass frisch zubereitet wurde. Das Beste, dass wir in den USA hatten. Leider haben wir keinen Bär gesichtet. Selbst-Check in ist auch zu späteren Uhrzeit möglich"
