„Enjoyed this place. 6 of us stayed for a bowling weekend. Enjoyed it, relaxing and playing cards. While an older house, it is well maintained and host had stocked with everyhing we needed. Was well worth the price.“

Very nice deck with lots of comfortable chairs for freighter watching. The owner is always making improvements. It’s a pleasure to visit.“

„There's not much to do on sugar island other than enjoy time with each other. Cook a bunch of food and enjoy the peace and quiet. Have a campfire and if that makes you happy. This is the perfect stay. We love it at the sugar suite.“

„Very clean and quiet. You can get a glimpse of Lake Superior from the main room. There were 4 of us (adults 60+). The 2nd floor is the living area, so there is a lot of stair climbing every day, and one of us actually took a fall. Although there are two bathrooms, one is is the basement/garage. “
