„We had a fantastic stay at the Bear’s Den for Labor Day week/end 2025. The owners have done a wonderful job of making this a fantastic up north getaway in the woods. It was so peaceful and relaxing while also having all you need in terms of modern amenities. There were 7 of us plus a dog and we were all cozy and comfortable. You need to plan around the ferry for coming and going but we thought that added to the adventure and the kids loved it. Highly recommend. My parents already want to come ...

„The property was super clean and very comfortable. The view of the freighters on the St. Mary's River was amazing! We loved sitting by the water with a nice fire to keep us warm. The dry firewood provided was excellent since we had a lot of rain during our stay. All the little touches like snacks and smores fixin's were very much appreciated. “

We spent most our weekend soaking up the sun on the lake in the kayaks and rock hunting on the beach. Truly a breathtaking house that shows so much time that must have gone in to its creation.
