„Me and my partner Ross stayed at The Cornmill last saturday and we both had a pleasent experience, Karen is very welcoming & accomodating and all round a lovely person. The room we stayed in was immaculate aswell and to top it all off, breakfast was absolutely superb! Some bits of the decor need updating (which is planned) but still a relaxing and comfortable stay. The room was spacious and well equipped. The food is excellent and well presented. „The location of the cottage is excellent, right next to the river Esk and on a very quiet holiday park (in April anyway). There is an amazing viaduct over the river where there is bungy jumping every couple of weeks during the summer and you can walk over it into Whitby which is only 30 mins away on foot. „Zimmer war trotz Nachfragens und kühler, nasser Witterung nicht zu heizen. Der Boden knarrte bei jedem Schritt, die Zimmertüre schlug in verschlossenem Zustand laut mit, wenn jemand die Flurtüre bewegte. Im Bad stand neben der Toilette eine Pfütze, das Wasser der Dusche konnte wegen falsch nivelierter Duschwanne nicht vollständig ablaufen und im unteren Bereich fand sich Schimmel.“
