Finde Gillies Jones Glass Hotels

„We had a one night stop here in October. The room had been redecorated reasonably recently, the bathroom also looked very modern, all very clean. A new mattress wouldn't go amiss though. The staff were very friendly and helpful, for our evening meal we had a pizza, which was ok, it was tasty and very filling. We didn't have breakfast so cant comment. The absolute best thing about this hotel is sitting outside the front having a drink and admiring a stunning view! That alone would bring us ...

„Excellent food, breakfast had a superb selection of cooked options, the fish and chip were exceptional- best I’ve had for a long time.“

„Definitely a 5 star B&B. Lovely big room with terrace seating outside, overlooking the sheep and guinea fowl in the fields. Loads of parking. Very clean and well presented. The owners have pretty much thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and feel homely. Breakfast, with loads of choice, is cooked freshly to order in the area that serves as a bistro on several evenings in the week. „Alles perfekt und sehr schönes Zimmer.“

„Mittelpunkt, um in ca. 50 Minuten York, Scarborough, Goathland, Middlesbrough und Ripon zu erreichen. Ebkenso um Wanderungen ins Moor zu machen oder abbeys oder castles zu besuchen. Zum Hotel - sehr nette Belegschaft und das Essen war frisch und sehr köstlich.“

„Room was clean and presentable room smelled nice an fresh when we came back after our day out staff were friendly Valerie was a good host lovely breakfasts each day and great parking at the back well secured loved it“

„Gorgeous looking hotel. Already lovely but excited to see it when their plans to gain a 4th star come to fruition. My only qualms are rather thin walls to the next bathroom (you can hear the next rooms shower power unit) and the ventilation (weather was low 20s but room got full sun and with no air con it was very hot, even with windows fully open). Otherwise, tasteful decor, a really nice restaurant with super food and a beautiful location.“

„Amazing stay, lovely staff, pet friendly. Nothing to much for the staff, made to feel so welcome. Beautiful village. Will definitely be returning. Xx“

„Checkin was rather lengthy. The receptionist took her time doong the paperwork. Explaining how the keys work took some more time. The room was clean but could do with some renovations. The bed was comfortable. Altogether I would recommend the hotel for someone who needs a roof for a night. Not more and not less. “

„We started our tour on the Cleveland Way in Helmsley. After a Long day we got. a room near the kitchen wich was noisy and not really comfortable. All in all was the hotel not the price valid we payed“

„We had an exceptional experience. Food both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff we were great.“

„Lovely house with great facilities- has everything we could have needed to enjoy our stay. Quiet area but easy access to North Yorks Moors and other local attractions. “
