„Lovely clean room. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfasts. Lovely food in restaurant. No TV service due to recent storms. This was not the fault of the hotel and they did provide a working TV in the comfortable lounge. Overall, a great 4 night stay. We will return.“

„We stayed 2 nights as a group of 6 in the bunk barn. The room was full of mould. The bunk barn doenst peovide enough space for 6 people and very little space to store belongings. „An amazing location and room. Great breakfast and convenient to walkable and drivable Lake District attractions.“

„The accommodation was in excellent condition for a house of this age, almost as good as the staff, we had a lot of fun and were exceptionally well entertained.“

„Very pleasant stay.“

„Excellent Breakfast and good location.“

„In general nice stay, good room and location, nice breakfast “

Abgeschlossener Parkplatz in nächster Nähe. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.“

„A beautifully decorated house, extremely clean and well appointed with tea, coffe and biscuits in rooms. Breakfast is outstanding with local produce and home made muesli and fruit salad, plus award winning marmalade made by Giles. Plenty of parking and a short walk to the centre of town. Andrea is cheerful, efficient and caring at breakfast time“

„Great boutique accommodation in the center of Ambleside“
