„This was a nice place to stay for a few nights, and quiet apart from the neighbour’s yappy dog and in a great central location for Windermere. Helpful staff, breakfast was good - perhaps could do with slightly bigger portion sizes though. The shower was tiny. Only comfortable if you are child-sized. This was my only bugbear as I am a 6ft fat bloke. Car parking plentiful. But be aware if you have an SUV you might struggle to get round the back because of the poor parking of others making it ...

„Such a relaxing stay! Huge room with comfortable beds and plentiful tea and coffee facilities - especially nice local touch using Herdy mugs. Spa and pool were very nice, and lovely outdoor spaces to relax right on the lake. Would have loved more time to spend a lazy afternoon in the cosy surroundings getting lost in a book. Good cooked breakfast, my husband especially enjoyed the smoked haddock and poached eggs. Would love to come back and stay longer next time!“

„Mitten im Ort gelegen, aber dennoch ruhig. Mit dem kostenlosen Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel hat es auch jeden Abend geklappt, kann aber schon voll werden. Es gibt aber wohl auch noch einen zweiten Parkplatz, den wir aber nicht gebraucht haben. Meiner Frau hat der Pool super gefallen, gepflegt, sauber und ansprechend gestaltet. Der Whirlpool hat uns beiden sehr gut gefallen. Frühstück war sehr gut, das Abendessen im Hotel hatten wir nur einmal genossen. War jetzt nicht schlecht, aber irgendwie ...

„Every aspect was great. Just a small trouble with unloading luggage as there is not much space to park if the spot is already taken. Also, from the hotel welcome message it feels like they will help unload luggage but you do that on your own. They have good amenities but not so easy to find information about it, like access to private beach or availability in Spa. Overall, I enjoyed the stay a lot and loved the swimming area and steam/sauna experience.“

„Rooms were nice and clean but we had an annoying noise coming from an air vent inside a wardrobe that drove us wild, made them aware and they attempted a bodge to cover it up but it still persisted and spoiled our sleep. The only other complaint is when we were dining a family with young children had been eating beside us and the kids had food on the floor, due to the hot weather there were a lot of flies about and they were congrigating around the food on the floor.
