„The historic building is fabulous, the atmosphere great, it's the pole position in Windermere, great view on the lake. I wonder if it is necessary that during the summer season the building is under construction. With scaffoldings in front of the windows, some parts of the building beside the entrance in bad condition, and even a corridor we had to pass everyday was stuffed with furniture, cardboard boxes ... This is not the atmosphere for holidays. Due to repairs on some wires, the internet ...

„A perfect stay! Amazing comfy, cosy and massive bed which gave a perfect night sleep ahead of us climbing Scafell Pike which was really easy to get to. Super clean, loved the modern touches but also the traditional parts which remained from the barn. Breakfast was amazing and loved that it catered to vegetarian and non-dairy options without having to ask for this. We loved watching the alpacas from our bedroom. The freshly made cakes each day were such a treat and tasted beautiful. Only 10 mins ...
