„Set in a beautiful village this accomodation stands out withbits exterior decor. Parking is a short walk away and not onsite but this isnt gar and not a problem. We were greeted by a wonderful ladybwhonwas full of smiles, verybfriendly and appeared tonreally enjoy her job. She showed us to our room and left us to unpack. The room was big enougb fornthe 2 of us and had a good sized ensuite shower room. The rooms facilities were excellent. Smart tv, wifif and smart heating as well as a kettle ...

„Das B&B ist ein wunderschönes viktorianisches Haus, das toll gelegen ist. Es ist von Hilton, dem Gastgeber, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und ist tadellos. „Brilliant from start to finish. Check in was quick and friendly. Every staff member we came into contaxt with was lovely and so helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the lake. Breakfast was excellent and perfectly cooked. Cannot fault our stay at all. “

Breakfast requirements texted the night before and ready for us at the specified time. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom with easy to use shower. Car parking space. What's not to like?“

„Nette Betreiber, zentrale Lage und ein umfassendes Frühstück regionaler Art - toller Startpunkt für eine Fahrt in den Lake District oder zu den Burgruinen Brougham und Brough. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl und gut aufgenommen gefühlt.“

„Good hotel with good views and clean rooms. Rooms we stayed were compact with Mountain views. A great location in Ambleside. Bus stops with Public Buses towards Windermere are next door. The hotel didn't have lifts but the climb on the stairs didn't seem steep.but older people might struggle a bit. There's a £12 parking charge per day. Breakfast was included but very limited options and a limited window for an hour“

"Außenanlagen, äußeres Erscheinungsbild sehr gepflegt, sehr schönes, viktorianischesGebäude. Fenster nur minimal zu öffnen, Aussicht auf Mülltonnen, Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig. Abendessen, 3- Gang- Menu akzeptabel, aber Preis- Leistungs - Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Die oben angeführten Kritikpunkte werden wahrscheinlich relativiert bei schönem Wetter durch die landschaftlich herrliche Umgebung und die damit verbundenen vielfältigen Freizeitmöglichkeiten Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt im August leider das Pech wegen des extrem schlechten Wetters - ca 14 Grad, Regen und starkem Wind- praktisch nichts im Freien unternehmen zu können. "
