This property was immaculate! So clean and well appointed. The bedrooms were pretty with soft sheets, lots of pillows and comfortable beds. There were wonderful touches like nice soap, shampoo and body wash, plentiful towels - even a makeup remover washcloth. There’s coffee next to the coffee maker and an array of spices in the cabinet. There was a throw blanket on the couch and extra blankets in the living room and bedrooms. Ceiling fans in all the rooms Lots of windows to get the sea breezes at night. The water pressure was great and warm water flowed quickly. We LOVED the covered front porch with a large dining table, rocking chairs and a swing. HOST: Our host was very responsive and even gave us a list of places to try near the house. She provided a baby gate so our dog could roam freely while we were on the deck. She was kind and responded to any questions almost immediately. She even gave us recommendations for a trip to Duck. LOCATION: The beach is just 3 short blocks away. You can walk to 2 different coffee shops and a grocery store. If we had brought bikes, we rarely would have gotten in the car. You are close to the main drag but there is not much road noise, especially at night. We were in the middle of everything but also felt tucked away. Overall 11 out of 10. We wish we could have stayed longer! We plan to return soon. Highly recommend the birdhouse for your next OBX adventure.
