Over all the whole feeling of the home was run down and not in good condition. When I chose this property it was because we have multiple people who had disabilities and we were trying to make sure it would be a vacation home they could enjoy while having all the amenities they needed to get by day to day. When we first arrived the elevator was already in such bad looking shape that the 2 disabled guests were scared to get on it. The metal braces on the elevator was separating from the sides and made trying to get the wheelchair on and off the elevator a big difficulty. When we made it inside and were able to get everyone settled we found of that the reclining couch which was advertised was broken and had exposed wires which made it impossible to sit on that couch without being stabbed. Sadly we didn't find that out until after one of the ladies who is disabled had already had the wire draw blood. All of this we could ignore however what really made me feel like I had to express our experience is when my spouse was walking down the exterior steps and had a step split in half causing her to fall and injure her knee. Thankfully when we called Vacasa, a local branch member did come out to examine the property. We were instructed to not use the exterior staircase, the steps in the pool area, the steps on the upstairs deck, or the steps leading to the front of the home from the back yard. Due to the unsafe stairs we were only able to use the pool and the backyard once.
