„A lovely cozy cottage with spectacular views. The cottage has everything you need for a short or long stay. The kitchen is cook semi-chef level. Heaps to do in the area. Our highlights were hikes to see Falls and Gollum's Cave.“

„Lovely open plan living areas with open fire in main lounge , large deck of living areas , bathrooms for every bedroom . Steps down to lake which is great . Wonderful time had by everyone , will definately stay there again . Recommend this home to anyone and everyonelooking for a relaxed, enchanting stay .“

„This place was great , A true Bach and we felt right at home , Location was fantastic with the lake only a few steps from the house as well as having the bike/walk path right there for those evening strolls , All in all a great time at this place . We will be back next year Paul & Tracy“

„Very clean and enough beds for 6 males. Garage nice and big to store mountain bikes safely. Great help from property manager and other staff when we left key inside house and went out garage door and shut it. They came around in a timely manner and opened house. Will book again“

„Lovely place to stay and look out over the lake. Kids enjoyed being able to play in the reserve. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of bathroom availability for the large group we had. “

„Heavy frost outside, cosy inside. We had a great Matariki weekend - biked from the house to do the Old Coach Road and also did a walk up the mountain. House was very warm and beds so comfortable. I bought a few more wine glasses for the recycling centre to top up the supply Cheers“

„right by the lake and a beach with ideal swimming. The house has bush around which keeps it cool in summer. Being dog friendly was important to us. Well stocked and all amenities there. Owner really friendly and responsive. Recommend this place to anyone “

„Had a couple of nights here and really enjoyed the relaxing, rustic atmosphere. Fireplace was a lovely addition and kept the place feeling cosy all weekend. Was a bit tricky finding the house in the dark, but as long as you know it's behind the front house, then it's no issue at all. Definitely keen to come stay here again.“

„Tha stay was lovely and easy checkin and checkout process. Very clean and there were plenty of space for 12 people.“

„Had a great time relaxing here over the weekend, location was perfect for those of was wanting a trip up the mountain and the spa was there for those who wanted to stay in the warmth. The only issue we had was bookabatch not informing us of the code to access the house, we had to call the help centre for crucial info. Wasnt a dealbreaker though, we will definitely stay again given the chamce. “

„Beautiful place to stay, and I have stay in some of the best places and this is one of them, it’s got everything that we needed, location is great, parking space is awesome, books and games for the family was well thought off, the laundry dry room was amazing, nice touch to the place, very clean and spacious for everyone, we just love this place, closer to the shops and beautiful walks and scenery all around this lovely little town, and the people are friendly. We will be back again.“

"Die Zimmer waren von der Einrichtung sehr alt und abgenutzt. Durch die hohen Decken wirkt der Raum aber trotzdem ganz nett. Der Innenhof lädt zum Sitzen und Abendessen ein und ist gut belebt ohne laut zu sein. Es gab eine doppelte Herdplatte, eine Spüle, eine Mikrowelle und einen Kühlschrank sowie eine Grundausstattung an Geschirr und Salz/Pfeffer und Spüli, auch hier aber alles etwas älter (trotzdem funktional). Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner waren sehr in die Jahre gekommen, haben aber funktioniert. Alles in allem durch die Nähe zum Tongariro Nationalpark und mit Supermarkt direkt nebenan eine Unterkunft in der man sich gut aufhalten kann, wenn man nicht zu viel erwartet. "
