„137 stairs to access so be ready to sweat carrying your luggage up. The walk from the train station isn’t bad until you get to the stairs to the building. But that’s is to be expected in Cinque Terre and you are rewarded by the view which was quintessential Cinque Terre. The balcony was lovely especially in the evening. "Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Grandhotel Villa Balbi und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Besonders gefreut hat uns das großzügige Upgrade von unserem gebuchten Doppelzimmer auf eine Suite – eine wirklich schöne Überraschung und ein toller Start in unseren Aufenthalt. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem wunderschönen historischen Gebäude und versprüht einen ganz besonderen Charme. Die authentischen Zimmer, der gepflegte und ruhige Garten und die wunderbare Atmosphäre machen dieses Hotel zu etwas Besonderem. Es ist eines dieser Häuser mit echtem Charakter, in denen man sich sofort wohlfühlt und ein wenig das Gefühl bekommt, in eine andere Zeit einzutauchen. Alles war sehr sauber und angenehm ruhig. Auch die Lage ist ideal: Der Bahnhof ist in etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und für die Anreise mit dem Auto stehen praktische Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel zur Verfügung. Besonders angenehm fanden wir, dass der Parkplatz nachts durch ein großes Tor verschlossen wird – dadurch fühlten wir uns auch mit unserem Auto sehr sicher. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre das Frühstück: Für die Preisklasse hätten wir uns etwas mehr Auswahl und Abwechslung gewünscht. Das hat unseren insgesamt sehr positiven Eindruck jedoch kaum getrübt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und die besondere Atmosphäre der Villa Balbi sehr geschätzt. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!"
