„We found that old villa, surrounded with a romantic garden, pool, bbq place, patio. The house is old, but well equiped. Toilette, shower, kitchen, all is working fine. There is also a fridge, you can use One can use two different living rooms. And yes, there is a lot of stuff and books all arund there. Its a bit too much. Some times the lights could be a bit brighter :-) Coming again to Florence, we will stay there again.“

There is no phone reception outside the property, it’s in a strange dead zone where we had to walk 200-300 meters down the street to get phone reception. This is the only time this happened to us in Italy so make sure you screenshot the check-in instructions. There’s a cafe underneath and bar next door that is very loud at night, it was going strong past 1am ...

„We were very excited to visit Florence and booked the suite for 3 days. It was confusing to locate as the numbers go up and down on the street. The sidewalks are very small and we had to wait a long time for our host to send someone to open the gate to check us in. The Wi-Fi was not working and we had to pay the city tax on the spot before we could take the room. There were a lot of broken things - the kitchen door, the fan, and the unusual set up of having the sink in a closet with a hotplate ...
