„This was a great cabin. It was small and cozy yet big enough to enjoy. The decorations of this cabin made you feel right at home. Very clean and stocked well. It has a nice sized patio with a BBQ, table set and some chair. Communication was great quick response. I will definably be retuning to this cabin again for my next trip to the mountains. “

„I visited for a quick retreat, and picked this cabin because of its proximity to Calaveras Big Trees State Park. The cabin is as-described: good kitchen, comfortable beds, nice views. If you stay here, check out the South Grove trail, it's the best in the park (and it you're here for multiple days, save that trail for last). I am very glad I read the reviews. „The cottage is beautifully situated in the woods near the main road but not on it. Arnold is a lovely little town. If you have ATT- there is no service outside. However the WiFi in the cottage was great. Get your directions before you leave! The furnishings are lovely and it was very clean. We had trouble with the entry code but the property manager arrived quickly to help. We would definitely stay here again“

There's no ac (we knew that already when we booked) so it works fine if you plan on being out enjoying the lakes during the day, which we did. „We loved this cabin and felt the pictures didn’t do it justice. Check in and communication were easy and great. A few things to keep in mind, there is no air conditioner so the place was HOT during the summer, although there were many fans in the home. We also didn’t have paper towels or napkins. „The cabin was wonderful for our family! The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was labeled which made it easy to find things and put them back in the proper place. We enjoyed going to Big Tree's and visited 3 little lakes during our visit. Our grandson liked practicing his casting off the deck. The back yard was wonderful! We had a fabulous trip!“

„Stayed 3 nights and could have easily stayed longer. So many fun activities around the property. We loved every minute of getting away from the everyday city life. My boys (8 & 10) and dog were in heaven. It's a fully stocked place and we actually packed too much.
