GEORGE - the Doorman - is absolutely FABULOUS. I travel frequently, and George is exemplary not just for his professionalism, but for his compassion and GENUINE goal to make your stay comfortable. We are not 'high end' travelers, but George took care of us just the same. We watched him greet the incoming guests, and the attention to everyone was the same. Prompt greeting, assess the guests needs, figure out how to meet those needs. Best experience in all of my 40 years of travel!
Front desk was curt and preoccupied.
The property is listed as dog friendly, but, it is not very friendly. A $100 fee is applied - which I do not object to, as our pet is worth that. I wish it had been noticeable that there are no floors on the ground level, and you need to switch elevators 2 times to get to a room. If your dog has never seen or been in an elevator, please consider this before booking a pet friendly room. Front desk staff was c
There was only 1 packet of coffee in the room for the wake up coffee - and when I called to see if more could be provided, I was told I could ride the elevator down to the 5th floor and pick some up at the Front Desk. Coffee was also available to purchase in the restaurant. Minimum stocking for coffee should be 1-2 cups per person.
The views were fantastic, the location is so convenient to everything in down town. It's the little things that are rather important to the comfort of a stay. Like coffee!
