„Unfortunately we were only able to stay the one night. The owner was very understanding and didn’t charge us for the next two nights. The area is beautiful. Close to the beach. 9 cottages arranged around a huge open space with a kids play park and an outdoor pool. Beautiful balcony attached to each cabin and a fire pit in front of each. “

Furthermore we never got any feedback on our questions. No communication at all; this is an inapropriate way to deal with problems. We don‘t recommend the Avonlea Forest Hill Cottages. Sorry but we are disappointed. “

„This property was perfect for our family of five. The view is beautiful, house is clean and well equiped and gave us the perfect chance to relax. The location is ideal to see the Anne of Green Gables sites (underrated--the Cavendish Post office has a free Anne museum :) ). Honestly can't recommend this place enough. “

„Spacious cottage and bunkhouse, large wrap around deck with the front portion covered. Lots of outdoor seating options, BBQ, fire pit with wood provided and outdoor games available. The bunkhouse was bigger than expected, the separate bathroom and mini-split are perfect for having friends join you yet still having separate spaces to unwind. The cottage has a very well equipped kitchen, no issue finding any sort of utensil, cookware or spices. The water view, peaceful community, beach proximity ...

„This is a cozy spot with a lot of recent upgrades that still feels very homey and relaxed. A gorgeous location, and walkable to Stanhope Beach with easy drives many other places. Welcoming host and folks in the other cottages were quiet. This is a super affordable gem and the whole property is clearly undergoing renovations but keeping that lived-in cottage feel. Very nice to have brand new windows and a heat pump in a sweet little cottage by the sea. We will definitely stay again. “
