„This is a little gem to find - excellent accomadation and staff along with Quiet surroundings Food id second to none with a wide range for starters and main meal.Rooms are tastefully done with all the usual requirements and fresh milk is from a vacuum flask so its all fresh. Toilets are spotlessly clean and well laid out along with general condition is very good.Thank you and well done to all.“

„Self-check-in without issues. The shower in my bathroom was broken, I was moved to a different room with a functional shower in the bathroom. Room and bathroom clean. The room heating was intermittent, at times a bit chilly in the evening. The breakfast was fine, but rather spartan. None of the breakfast items stereotypical for the UK: no baked beans, no sausage. Also no cheese, no bacon, no salami, no tomatoes, no cucumber. Friendly and helpful staff though.“

„We were only here one night, but I loved staying in this flat! It was a real insight into how people live their everyday lives in a city the size of Oxford. Manu was excellent about communicating with us and made sure we would have no trouble finding the flat or getting into it. I wish we could have stayed here longer, and I would definitely reach out to him again if I ever travel back this way!“

„Sehr schön gelegen an der Themse, alles neu renoviert und sehr sauber. Bequeme Betten. Viel Personal aber etwas unkoordiniert. Die einen sehr bemüht, die anderen „less than volonteers“. Einerseits eine „fine dining area“ aber keine Möglichkeit am Tisch zu bestellen. Sowohl beim Frühstück als auch am Abend wird ständig um dich herumgeputzt das ist nicht sehr gemütlich. Mit dem Personal ist es halt nicht so einfach. Aber wir kommen sicher wieder. “

„Ein altes Gemäuer mit Treppen und unebenen Böden, ABER das Vintage-Design macht sehr, sehr charmant. Dazu das BESTE Frühstück, dass ich in UK bisher bekommen habe, mit einem super-freundlichen Service, der einen auch 2min nach Öffnung schon herzlich willkommen heißt. Leider konnte ich nicht länger bleiben. “

„Das Hotel war mit dem Auto gut und einfach zu erreichen und bietet auch kostelose Parkplätze. Die Zimmer sind geräumig aber etwas zugestellt. Auch könnten einige wenige Reparaturen (Dusche) den Aufenthalt angenehmer machen. Das kostenlose WLAN und das inbegriffene Frühstück waren sehr gut. Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel wenn man in der Gegend einen 1-2 tägigen Geschäftstermin hat. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt ist die Lage nicht besonders geeignet, da es schon etwas abgelegen ist.“

„The hotel is part of main road services on the A34. Perfect for short stay travellers. Friendly reception, large clean rooms, walk-in shower. Huge TV set with many channels. No noise from the main road and quiet carpeted roomand corridor. M&S food shop at petrol station opposite, also McDonalds. Noisy coffee shop atmosphere in the hotel restaurant. Morning walk beside the busy road supplied me not only with plenty of petrol fumes but also delicious blackberries picked fresh from the pathside ...

„Inexpensive no frills Oxford accommodation. Manager very responsive and accommodating. Good location with frequent buses to centre of Oxford (though easy for most to walk) and direct buses to train station. Clean rooms, kettle with tea and coffee. Good shower. No regrets. Would stay there again. “

Car dealerships beside the hotel's no-charge car park gave the chance to window shop. A Costa coffee shop drive-through close by seemed to typify the general mood of the area."
