„Self-check-in without issues. The shower in my bathroom was broken, I was moved to a different room with a functional shower in the bathroom. Room and bathroom clean. The room heating was intermittent, at times a bit chilly in the evening. The breakfast was fine, but rather spartan. None of the breakfast items stereotypical for the UK: no baked beans, no sausage. Also no cheese, no bacon, no salami, no tomatoes, no cucumber. Friendly and helpful staff though.“

„Everything was very good! “

„The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful.“

„The Old Parsonage is a discrete, well-looked-after and very special hotel in a beautifully renovated ancient building. It is full of character and excellently located for visits to colleges / central Oxford. The staff are well trained but also very personable. The food (both breakfast and other meals) in the Michelin-starred restaurant is outstanding. This was our second stay and we will definitely come again.“

„Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. “

„Ganz wunderbares altes Pub, sehr authentisch, hervorragendes Frühstück.

„Beautiful and quiet hotel with a great atmosphere! The staff is amazing—super friendly and attentive. The pub is so cozy, and the food is great. We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back! 10/10.“

„Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, perfect and kind of only place for a business trip in the area. “

„Super Anbindung an das Zentrum von Oxford “

„Sehr saubere, gemütliche Unterkunft, Sehr gutes Frühstück im Nebengebäude. Abgeschlossenes Gelände durch kodierte Torzufahrt. Sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Trips nach Oxford. “
