On entering the property we found a procession of ants along the skirting board that ran from the front door up to the flat. We had to deal with literally hundreds of ants for 12 days of our 14 day stay. Henry Adam’s sent someone twice with ant powder.
The master bedroom contains only 3 pieces of furniture - a very comfortable king size bed, one small bedside table, and a 2-seater sofa. No wardrobe or hangers. No dressing table/chest of drawers. After contacting Henry Adams, a temporary hanging rail and hangers were supplied. The bedrooms have large, high feature windows like the living area, but only the lower section is provided with blinds. That means that the room is never dark. Eye masks are provided, but the room as flooded with daylight once the sun comes up. It also means that the room gets incredibly hot. The main living area is comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen lacks a bread knife, a baking tray and a microwave. Again, the lack of blinds means that the space gets incredibly hot on sunny days. The second bedroom does have a chest of drawers, but again, no wardrobe/hangers. The patio area was the only cool space in the flat. Without it, we couldn’t have survived 2 weeks in this hothouse.
