„The Shepherds Hut was fantastic. Friday night was great. Romantic as we wanted. Very cosy!Saturday night was ruined somewhat. A couple of power cuts forced a move to a larger accommodation, although good, lost the tranquility of the Shepherds Hut. Neither of us slept very well, both finding the bed in the new accommodation most uncomfortable!We left Westerland @ 1000 am, both wanting to get on with the rest of our weekend.“

Fix outdoor lights. Fix air conditioner. A better cleaning of spider webs inside and out. Second double bed was all broken and mattress would fall into its hole. „We had a wonderful time in these smart Shepherd’s huts. Such a good idea to have two! They are well equipped and are nestled in woodland on the edge of the host’s garden. „Cottage was lovely and quirky comfortable and warm, but there was a few issues, cobwebs in the bedroom table lamp in the lounge gave me an electric shock! Stairs outside need looking at as very worn out and not enough utensils pizza tray didn’t fit the small oven. The local Woodmancote pub was great for Sunday lunch and you get a 20% discount too.“

„It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit.“
