„Not too shabby“

„A bit outdated hotel, however for 2-3 nights is ok. Some rooms need to be renovated as they are outdated. I had a superior room which was not renovated, therefore a bit disappointing. Breakfast is classic for UK, nothing particular, tasty. Overall, clean and ok.“

„The double bed matress was really bad, probably the worst I have slept in. It has lots of potential but missed the mark on a few things. We had a double room but only 1 cup was in the room and 1 coat hanger. It had a mini fridge but wasn't working. It did have air con. Breakfast could be extended until at least 10.30 as a couple when we were there arrived at 10am to be told breakfast had finished. So as an urgent task replace all mattresses or at least Room 8“

„Hotel right next to Petrol Station. However quite calm during the night. Good stopover If arriving with fhe ferry in Harwich. Awful breakfast room, Not cosy and very cold. Poor choice of breakfast Options, well it was inckuded, but don't expect too much “

„Charming old building with cosy rooms. Excellent restaurant downstairs. Nice views of the river and sailboats. Right at the promenade. Access to the rooms through the staff area of the kitchen. Private bathroom was not en-suite.“
