„We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views ...

„The Marlborough is a pub with tasty food and about five rooms for overnight stays. The staff is outstanding and does everything possible to be helpful. It is on a central street of a very small town, so it can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but is quiet at night. The rooms have nice versions of all the basics, including a good bed and excellent shower. There are few extra amenities beyond the room and pub, although the breakfast was very good. „The Foxes Den is a perfect place to stay. Our room was very comfortable, beautifully designed and well equipped. The restaurant provided excellent food, both for dinner and breakfast. It was run very efficiently by a great team of staff.“

„Man wird von der netten Julie zusammen mit ihren zwei Schäferhunden begrüßt. Das Einzelzimmer ist recht groß und es gibt als "Freebie" 0,5l Wasser und Tee/Kaffe. Das Badezimmer muss geteilt werden, war für mich aber kein Problem, da ich als nicht Geschäftsreisender unter der Woche nach acht Uhr sowieso alleine war. Das engl. Frühstück ist üppig und Julie geht auf viele Wünsche ein.“
