„We just needed it for a one night stay. Wish the drive there was smoother but knew what we were getting into. Only recommendation would be updating accommodations from sleeps 4 to sleeps 3 as there’s only one queen bed and a twin bed. Host was great about communicating and allowing us to check in a little early “

„We recently bought a camper and have been traveling around Central Texas looking for a lake to buy some property on. This was our first time at Lake Whitney. It is a pretty lake, close to family and very laid back and relaxing. The RV spot is large and shady, with a firepit and all the hookups necessary. It is a great location, in the neighborhood close to Whitney Ridge marina. We will definitely be back soon!“

„We loved our stay here at La Palmilla. Our daughter was so excited she kept telling us she didn’t want to sleep. It’s a beautiful property and felt like we weren’t in Texas. Loved that it was dog friendly, and the wide open space around was so relaxing. We also saw some deer roaming around. We met the owners and they were so kind. It's close to all of the Glen Rose spots and we would definitely return. “
