„Really old school place, we had it to our selves for our three nights. The breakfast is worth it. The Onsen is fairly dated and there are some places that would require removing the cobwebs.“

„Great spot away from the busy Tokyo area. The rooms and the hotel is special in its own way and has a lot of character. Felt like being in my grandparents home. Really enjoyed staying here and it made it incredibly easy to walk to and from the train station to get bus tickets. Would definitely tell friends to stay here in the future. “

„Wonderful stay at the Hotel Kurobe. It’s a little older property but well maintained. Staff and meals are excellent. Short walk from the train station but it is uphill. They provide a free shuttle which was very convenient with luggage “

„Lovely place to stay. Cute ryokan style room with own toilet and sink. Onsen downstairs was ok but there are lots of onsens to explore in area for bathing after skiing. Location was excellent. A short walk to main Happo bus terminal. Also very short walk to Hakuba Valley Shuttle bus stop and skiing at Nakiyama slope. Not much of a walk to Happo Gondola either. Really enjoyed our stay with fresh matcha tea making stuff every day as well as a little treat - usually a kitkat or mandarin :)“

„Amazing hotel with friendly reception. Although quite far away from Toyama city center, in the middle of rice plantations, the hotel was nice with good dining. The big two storied room was clean and pleasant. They offer a Japanese yukata which you wear throug out your stay at the hotel. Good inner and outer Japanese style onsen were you can recover from your busy day.“

„The hotel was very nice, outdoor onsen, clean, and convenient location. The best part however was the owner and her team. They reqlly care about their guests and in the end they felt like friends.“

„外装、内装も写真よりも実物が綺麗でした。和風の旅館ですが、地下から２階屋外までwifiは問題なく繋がり、Zoomなどのビデオ通話約90分も支障ありませんでした。ご飯は量がやや多いですが、朝食、夕食共に小学生の子供達も大満足です。ご飯や味噌汁、卵といった基礎的な部分が美味しく、外出して食べるよりもこちらで頂く方が良いのではないかと思います。自信を持ってオススメします。“
